Meet Nikki: The Heart Behind the Gardens

Hi, my name is Nikki. My professional journey with plants began 26 years ago, rooted in a lifelong passion for the natural world. It started at a herb nursery called Heiveld Herbs and led me to manage the herb gardens at Camphill Farms, grow culinary herbs for the Cape market, and eventually, take a leap of faith at age 27 to open my own plant nursery and landscaping business.

For me, creating beautiful gardens isn’t just a job—it is a part of who I am. My approach is both spiritual and practical, viewing every project as a unique collaboration between the land, the client, and myself. I believe that all these elements are equally important and must be brought into harmony to create a space that is not only visually pleasing but also truly feels right.

My vision is simple: to connect more people to their outdoor spaces, so they can benefit from the restorative power of nature.
